Rachel is a carpenter/furniture maker in Saskatchewan, Canada. Her company, Sawdust and Smoke, specializes in custom pieces made from reclaimed wood and recycled materials. When at all possible, she sources them from the local barns and buildings she personally demolishes. Rachel teaches regular Women’s woodworking classes to promote the increasing number of women in trades, while also serving as the Lead Builder/Designer for the Animal Planet television series Scaled.
